Call for Entries - Ballistic Publishing is now calling all artists to submit digital images for consideration to be included in ELEMENTAL 3. Images should be predominantly created using Autodesk products. We are interested in digitally-created fine art for commercial use, or personal satisfaction, in the following categories: Architectural Interior, Architectural Exterior, Architectural Reconstruction, Character in Repose, Character in Action, Creature in Repose, Environment, Conflict, Product Design, Abstract & Commercial Design, Cinematics & Visual Effects, and Transport. There is no cost or limit to enter work for inclusion in ELEMENTAL 3. In the legacy of all Ballistic Publishing showcase publications, all artists with work published in ELEMENTAL 3 will receive a complimentary copy of the book and will enjoy worldwide exposure in the premier collection of Autodesk-created artwork to ever be published. A la maniére d'un Jackson Pollock il peint ses oeuvres sans vraiment les toucher avec ses pinceaux - juste capturer l'instant à la manière photographique. dynamic car les programmes utilisés peuvent générer un nombre infini de compositions ; abstraction du style visuel de l'artiste, mais aussi de la façon de concevoir le design. Une façon très intéressante de concevoir l'art contemporain des résultats stupéfiants . A voir de toute urgence donc ... • hOMEWORK est un studio graphique indépendant, qui s'occupe essentiellement de direction artistique et de création d'identité visuelle. La mode comme secteur d'activité privilégié, le studio fondé en 2002 par Jack Dahl possède un goût prononcé pour le papier. Les typographies choisies avec intérêt viennent conforter les choix des supports, et même si certains classiques sont utilisés (Bodoni, Avant Garde), leur intégration est parfaite. En résulte alors une belle alchimie entre papier et typographie, vernis et couleurs, gauffrage et découpe. #
• Design 21 Social Design Network has just announced a call for entries for a logo design that represents “Stories from the Field: The United Nations Documentary Film Festival.â€� The festival showcases documentary films, created by UN or UN-affiliated agencies, that are based on one or more points stated in the UN’s Millennium Development Goals... Winner receives $5,000, and the ‘Most Popular’ prize will garner $500. Submission deadline is Monday, 26 November 2007 at 11:59 pm.
